Coal is such a charmer.
May I direct your attention to the post below this one! Also to this website! Go and change a life!
Thank you. :3
Aaaaaaand I remember that of course Coal would still have this mindset.
He was a noble and it is the 10th century, so…yeah. D:
What’s that supposed to mean, exactly? I’m a commoner, and it’s the 21st century and I still have this mindset. Does that mean I’m outside my timeline?
I think the mindset is viewing a person as a gift, or property. Not saving her…I think
A clear case of Chronic Hero Syndrome here. Its symptoms include the compulsion to aid any damsel in distress within earshot.
Haha, perhaps Coal isn’t as bad as he makes himself out to be!
That fire is gorgeous. Coal, you cutie! C’mere, you.
Thank you! And be careful.
Coal is even cuter when he’s trying to be nice!!! :D
Haha! Trying is right.
Loving this comic more and more :)
Thank you! I’m glad you like it. :D
“I had to save her” “Why?” Loki just doesn’t get it ;)
Yeah Loki certainly doesn’t understand risking one’s life for strangers.
Technically Coal wasn’t risking his life, like he said, he’s dead already. I think the point that he’s really trying to get across is that if a person WANTS to live instead of blindly accepting their fate, then you should do everything you can to help them. Just my take on it, but I could be wrong.
Aww… at first I want to be angry with Coal about treating her like an object, which is understandable when put into context, but then he goes all “she wanted to live” on me, and I can’t help but want to pat his head.
From what I understand, he felt the need to save her because he himself must have wanted help when he was dying? Which makes me wonder how exactly he died…
Haha, yeah Coal’s figuring out himself, I guess. And worry not, someday you’ll learn how he died. Far in the future. Waaaaay far.
Awwww… :) I love this comic so much. I’m happy every time I see an update.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it. :3
Um… I feel like Loki’s saying, “Well, why did you feel you had to be all Mr. Hero, Coal?” Maybe he thinks Coal shouldn’t feel any emotion, or the need to save anyone/care about others, since he’s dead. I just feel like Loki’s oddly negative about it when I read the conversation. *shrugs*
