Chapter 12 | Page 3

Coal we went through this like three chapters ago, don’t do it.

Thanks for reading! See you next week! <333

  1. Seriously, Coal, you can’t just take people’s things. That makes you a thief, and that’s terrible.

You have to kill them first. Then taking their things is plundering, and that’s all well and good.

    • Yes, Coal, there’s an order to these things.

  2. No, you nutter! Don’t encourage him!

    • Hmm… I actually meant to reply to Æþelwulf. Silly me.

  3. So how will Coal handle Uncle Grimms knockdown? Those eyes of Coals’ are freaky. No wonder Arne is scared.

    • Indeed. Makes me wonder if the fact that he grabs for the fragments is just his own viking bluntness or a compulsion given as a part of Odin’s quest. Either way, lets hope he doesn’t repeat his muslim-chucking shenanigans on Arne.

    • Coal can handle any knockdown!

  4. And Loki’s gonna hit him in the head in 3…2…1…

At least there’s nothing important in there that could get damaged.

    • Good thing Coal isn’t wearing his helmet! That would hurt to hit.

  5. ‘my PRECIOUS!!!’

Coal please, I know you’re violent and impulsive and rude and you can be very selfish sometimea but don’t steal that’s mean… Fight the viking in you, no plundering!

  6. Um, Arne?
    [still shaking from last week]

  7. I just love this series! I can’t wait for next Thursday!

    • Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy it. :D

  8. Love the artistic cliffhanger. It’s got us shivering with antisa-

Seriously though, I love it. Can't wait for the fallout next week!

    • Thank you so much! Keeping a cliffhanger keeps people coming back. ;D Hopefully.

  9. I have to say, I truly love the look on Loki’s face as he prepares to pound our poor protagonist.

  10. A raven and… a snake? A horse dragon? *squints at pretty magic swirls*

Also, is it just me, or does it seem like Loki outright triggered the torque to do that bit? Coal looks fine, and then Loki’s fingers move, and bam! Hypno-Coal.

And I wanted to thank you so much: I got the Angrboda comic the other day, and loved it! Now I want to know more about her. XD thou art a foul temptress, making me want more and more backstories! Thank you :)

    • Ah, thank you! I hope it got to you unscathed by traveling. And don’t worry Angrboda will show up again eventually. :D

  11. Cue BONK via Loki.

Still, wondering how Coal and Magnus would get along…

    • EDIT: nvm on the Magnus question.

    • Loki is good at the bonks.

  12. Y’know, considering Coal’s past interactions with people who happen to have things he needs to collect for his soul to reach the afterlife, I can’t see this ending well.

It will also be a bit of a relief if he acts similarly toward people who aren’t brown.

    • I’m not sure we’ll see him need to take a magic item from anyone else. Not unless Odin didn’t tell him all of the magic items missing.
Coal had a piece of Mjollnir.
Ibrahim had a piece of Frejr’s sword.
Arne seemingly has a piece of Gungnir, unless by “weapon” Odin neat his Draupnir armband.
That’s all that he seems to be needing. Unless either Loki or Odin lied/didn’t reveal everything, which is highly likely.

    • Poor Coal, no one trusts him! I wonder why that is.
